A fantastic evening of Boxing at the Newcastle Metro Arena 11/11/17 with many top fighters from around the country competing. Local Boxer Joe 'Smokin' Maphosa based in Thornaby boxed against Craig Derbyshire from Doncaster, Yorkshire. It was a very competitive bout with Craig bringing lots of experience into the fight. Joe trained 6 weeks solid for the fight and boxed exceptionally well to take the win and a top scalp to add to his now 3-0 record. Joes a great role model for youngsters and works with adults at the TS1 Tees Valley Boxercise programme to raise awareness for improved fitness and health
